I'm looking for a pair of DURABLE headphones. I'm tired of shelling out forty dollars on a pair, only to have it break four months or less later. Any suggestions.

I am a big fan of sony headphones. they are quite durable and the sound is excellent. I use them in the recording studio all the time for mixing.

Wireless headphones would be even cooler. *smiles* I, unfortunately, do not own a pair of those.

The Sennheiser PX200 headphones are fantastic. Very light but with a great sound and block out external noise very well. When not in use they can be folded away into a container which protects them when carrying them about etc.

Plantronics or Soney noise canseling head phones are nice. I have Soney, but you must watch the cables on these. Plantronics are built to take a beating.

for wireless headphones use anything by senheiser, for wired headphones, senheiser again, and for wireless headset yfor your pc, you can't beat the freetalk usb wireless headsets sold by skype. bloody brilliant.

Hey all,
the best place to get headphones in my opinion, is radio shack. I can't remember the brand name of the ones I have right now, but they have lasted me a year or so, and just now started getting a short in them. but I use them alot so yeah.

my computer headphones are a pair of Logitech USB premium 350's, I've had them almost 2 years, not problems...
I went through a pair of Microsoft Lifechat headphones in about 9 months...

Music/MP3 headphones are a pair of ear surrounding Panasonic Headphones, have had them 5 years, nothing has gone wrong....

Cheep headphones that are well constructed...You can't beat AKG. What they do is have the headpad suspended on a strong string, that moves based on the size of your head.

O wow, I've been looking everywhere for something like those AKG things. Only today, I received in the post some Skull Candy headphones reccomended by my 16-year-old cousin. Really trendy look, really young, look really robust and durable all at once, neat, but I'll certainly check the AKG headphones out should these skull candies brake sooner or later.

I got a ireless headset for Christmas, but unfortunately, i need a bluetooth dongle to get it to work. My brother looked at the ones on amazon, but they only work for macs or computers runing windows XP. Gurrrr. anyone know where I can get one that will work with Windows Vista?
